How do I add my first holding? ▾
Go to Portfolio, tap the add button, and enter category, weight, cost, and purchase date. Save to start live valuation and P&L tracking immediately.
Is MyGoldFolio free? ▾
Yes. Free core tracking is available with no ads and no subscription. Premium is an optional one-time Lifetime unlock for higher limits and advanced tools.
What does Premium add? ▾
Premium focuses on larger portfolios and deeper analysis: higher limits, extended chart/history access, richer export workflow, and advanced decision-support modules.

Which chart windows are available? ▾
Price chart windows include 7D, 30D, 60D, 120D, and ALL. Premium unlocks full-range chart access and deeper history depth.
How is price history stored? ▾
History retention is plan-aware. Free keeps a shorter rolling history, while Premium stores more points for long-range context and export workflows.
Why does the app use multiple price sources? ▾
MyGoldFolio uses fallback logic to improve reliability. If one source is temporarily unavailable, the app can continue with another source.
Privacy & Data Control
Where is my data stored? ▾
Portfolio and holding data stays on your device. Optional anonymous analytics is off by default and only runs if you explicitly opt in.
How do backup and restore work? ▾
In Settings, open Data & Export to create or import backup files. Data leaves the device only when you explicitly share exported files.
Can I disable analytics later? ▾
Yes. You can switch it off anytime in Settings. The app remains fully usable without analytics enabled.
Does the website track Google Play button clicks? ▾
Yes. The public website records page usage, guide topic/language, and the selected Google Play button placement so we can improve product information. It never reads your in-app holdings, portfolio values, or payment details.
